a good idea in my estimation. It is something I spoke of with Miles a couple weeks back when we were going to work on my TT. I thought having a special tech Sport Z mag for the holdays would possibly be a good seller. Miles took it a step further to make it into a cd. I don't think people would quit coming to the site. We all now that 85% of owners won't be able to do it right the first time anyway, thus the tech forums. Dunno if I really agree that it defeats the purpose of the site either, it just makes the info more readily available. The pictures I beleive are his main point, go into tech, more than half the pics have red x's because wherever they were posted originally have been taken down. For someone like you Bernie, no problem, cause you know your way around our cars pretty dam well, but for a novice, pictures are the substance needed to get the job done. Just my opinion.
Drive a TT and you'll realize that turbo should be a standard option on all cars!!! |
